| Everyone had a great time at the 2nd Annual Lugnuts Fundraiser! There were lot's of cars on display, with a car show, auction of racing memorabilia, door prizes, NASCAR's season finale on the big screen, children's events, scale model race car challenges, dunk tank, T shirts, and rock climbing. |  |
| Short Track USA with Bill Green and Terry Scampton, owner of Lugnuts Race Bar and Grill, were perfect hosts, keeping everything moving along smoothly and making sure everyone had an opportunity to have a great time! | |

Nearly
$5000 was raised and distributed to various organizations and
individuals associated with racing in the Tampa Bay area. A
primary benefactor of the event was the Q Motorsports Family Student
Racer Scholarship Program. A $1000 donation to establish a
scholarship in memory of "Wild" Bill Revard was presented to
Leonard McCue at the annual Sunshine Speedway Award Banquet.

The #17 Open Wheel Modified was displayed for a great
cause!
We signed autographs for children and fans and generally enjoyed a successful day. We visited with lots of friends, some who traveled several hours to support racing at this all day event. It was a long day (8AM to closing) but well worth every minute. If you missed this year's event, plan now for 2001. |
