In the heat race we started 2nd, fell back to fourth while trying to get to an inside position and worked our way back to a second place finish in the 8 lap sprint.  The car was working great and we made only a minor adjustment to the set up in preparation for the feature.
A number of the Open Wheel drivers seemed set on having another crash fest this weekend. There were four cautions before the first lap was officially recorded. We started on the outside pole but, unfortunately, after being rammed from behind in the first turn and spun out into the backstretch wall, we ended up starting the race from the 15th spot. It was the second caution of the night with 0 laps complete. The car had damage to the front and rear from the incident, most of it cosmetic, although still costly.  It continued to handle beautifully and we worked our way through the pack and four more cautions in the 25 lap feature to finish 5th.
Although there was more damage this week than last, it was still much less than most of the cars. We've worked our way up to 26th in season points of the 38 drivers listed in the class, despite starting at the mid point of the season.
