LM-2: Digital Air/Fuel Ratio Meter
|
The LM-2 combines an air/fuel ratio meter, a full-function
32-channel datalogger, and powerful software to deliver a complete tuning
workshop for less than the cost of one dyno day. Whether you have a
piggy-back fuel controller, race carb, aftermarket ECU, ODB-II tuning
software, or a flash/chip programmer, an LM-2 is the tool you need to dial
in maximum HP. The meter’s award-winning
digital signal processing technology provides data on exactly how rich or
lean an engine is running at any load. The LM-2’s self-calibrating
circuitry also compensates for changes in temperature, altitude, and
sensor condition.

The LM-2 also features two fully programmable linear analog outputs to
connect to analog gauges, dyno computers, ECUs, piggyback controllers, and
other devices with analog inputs. Analog output 1 comes setup from the
factory ready for narrowband simulation; analog output 2 is configured as
0 volt = 7.35 AFR and 5 volts = 22.39 AFR. With the provided LM Programmer
software these analog outputs may also be configured by the user. |

includes accessories to display your Air/Fuel Ratio either on the meter
and/or on your PC. To log RPM, or to Output the wideband signal to an
external device you'll need the LM-2 Analog IN/OUT Cable optional
accessory. For OBD-II features you'll need the LM-2 OBD-II Cable optional
accessory. To record internally to your LM-2 you'll need the SD Card

LC-1 Wideband Controller
|
The LC-1 Lambda cable is a complete wideband controller
built in to a sealed cable. It features the same award-winning
patented digital measurement principal found in the LM-1
& LM-2,
and includes digital input, output, and 2 user programmable analog

The LC-1 is more accurate than conventional designs costing many times
as much, and its self-calibrating circuitry can compensate for changes in
temperature, altitude and sensor condition. The LC-1 is ideal for
applications such as Dynos, Data Acquisition, Standalone ECUs, piggyback
fuel controllers, OBD-II software or chip programmers, and gauges. With
the LC-1, you can add additional wideband channels to your LM-1, convert
an existing narrow-band gauge, or add wideband capabilities to your dyno.
You can even tune individual cylinders by using multiple LC-1 kits.

The LC-1 is also a key component of Innovate Motorsports'
Modular Tuning System (MTS). Using the LC-1's serial ports you can
daisy-chain other Innovate devices such as the XD-16, AuxBox (LMA-3),
DL-32, TC-4, and SSI-4.
1) The basic LC-1 kit ($199) includes the LC-1, sensor, cd which
includes software and manuals, bung and plug, and a serial cable to
connect to the PC.
2) The Standalone Gauge Kit ($329) includes the LC-1, sensor, XD-16
digital gauge, cd which includes software and manuals, bung and plug, and
a serial cable to connect to the PC.

is supplied, and the support

resources can also speed you on your way to effective tuning. Innovate

MTS Example: 17-channel Log-Chain example
The example chain consists of a LM-1/LMA-2, a LC-1, a LMA-3, a
DL-32’s and 2 XD-16’s. In this case the chain has 17 channels (6 from LM-1,
1 from LC-1 and 5 each from the LMA-3 and DL-32).
Devices attached to the LM-1’s 'Aux In' port count as being part of
the LM-1’s 6 channels. They don’t count extra. XD-16’s do not contribute
any channels, so you can add as many as needed.
