1997 FLHT Jim Mead likes to cruise in comfort, only at a very high cruising speeds. How many other 80 CID dressers out there can claim over 100 ft.lbs of torque at the rear wheel. Just what is needed for high speed cruising or pulling stumps out of the ground. |

Jim Writes: I am planning on building me a 97 cu. in. (3.812"x4.25") motor(turbocharged) for the bagger this winter that should make over 150 ft./lbs. of torque and over 130 H.P. on streetable boost. There is nothing more fun that to outrun someone on a big bagger. He obviously travels in a fast crowdI know someone in Rapid City that just made 125 H.P and 153ft.lbs. of torque with the same 80 cu.in. motor, cam, and turbo, except for the charge tube and exhaust piping is a little different. |
