Welcome to The Boxer Underground from its editors and publishers, Pat Mullen and Virginia Zurflieh. Pat and I have been talking about embarking on this venture for some time now. No, we are not wild-eyed radicals with a subversive agenda. We are longtime boxer breeders and exhibitors with backgrounds in writing and publishing, whose favorite activities outside the show ring are discussing, debating, and writing about all the issues that affect present-day boxers and their owners throughout the world.

There are already several fine publications that fill the advertising needs of the fancy. Pat and I have created The Boxer Underground to answer the desire of many Boxer breeders/exhibitors for timely news, discussion, and debate. We hope you will find the B.U. thought-provoking, and will contribute your own news and views.

All letters and articles must be signed, and we reserve the right to edit all submissions.
