HD EVO Engine
1997 manufacture cases |
Late model HD 80 CID EVO engine. Partially Assembled. Cases
and crank are assembled. Cylinders and Heads are included. The following
items are needed to complete the engine: Pistons, Lifter Blocks, Push Rod
tubes, Valves. The engine has about 10k miles on it when it was torn down
for parts on another performance project I did.
This is a good engine to start a performance build-up or replace a damaged
set of cases. It is not a "plug and go", although I will do a
performance build if requested.
Cases have a 1994 VIN number, but were replaced by HD in 1997 with new
cases. Unlike the 90-96 cases, these are the cases that can have big bore
or stroker kits installed. |
